One thing I forgot to do before was to thank everyone who helped with the development of "the Faster EVO eVAR"
First of all, I'd like to thank our very own Brett for bring race gas from the pump at Sears Point on the way to work. Tuning on this stuff provided us with enough lead poisoning and knock resistance to last a lifetime.
Second, I'd like to thank BOZZ Performance of Fremont, CA for having an CUSCO twin plate clutch in stock when I called. Great shop to work with and an even better bunch of people to go clubbing with in the city
Next, I'd like to thank Steve Nichols of Aussie Imports, the US distributor of Dyno Dynamics (as well as Autronic, btw), for getting me up to speed on dynamometers a while back. Without his input, I could never had made the informed decision when it came to picking a tuning Dyno. The DD dynos read lower than he US dynos which throws bench racers into fits. But my god, they are so repeatable accurate and capable of simulating any road/track condition one can think of. There is no better tuning tool.
Next, I'd like to thank Toyo Tires for supplying us with the 235-45-17 RA1s. Sure, they are road racing tires but they last surprisingly long-- even considering the abuse we put them through on the road, track and on the dyno. Stick like gum and fit perfectly on the stock rims.
And of course, thanks to the cool cats I met at the track who didn't laugh when I pulled off that rip-roaring 2.7s 60' time. I appreciate this the most.
Best Regards to all,
Shiv
