I tried 2 forge Valves, and they both suck. Stock is the best so far.

Those are all nice but I recommend carrying a .45, preferably a 1911 style....I carry either a Kimber Compact or a Wilson Tactical Elite...nothing better to get someone's attention than a heavy round going exactly where you want it to go.....used to carry Glock when I was a cop, and they are great weapons, but going from a Glock to a good .45, like Kimber or Wilson, is like going from any other half-way decent car to an EVO. Of course carrying a 1911 style is only for people that take the time to shoot frequently....but i think this is more than a bit off topic......

Absolutely but 1-3K for a handgun is a little much- BTW I have a Kimber pro carry
