Tales From the Dyno 1/7/03
Our Stage 1+ tuning is kicking off into high gear lately. We did another one today. Except this one had an upgraded FMIC and an full exhaust which retained the stock cat.

Compare this to the normal Stage 1+ we did the day before yesterday. The only differences between the two cars is that this one ran the factory IC and a full 3" exhaust with free flow cat.

See how it compares to the STi Stage 1 which consists of an XEDE and a full 3" turbo-back exhaust. Below graph shows stock vs. Stage 1 (on 91 octane) vs. Stage 1 (100 octane). Holy Torque! But it's running out of turbo capacity

Shiv how restrictive you think the stock cat really is. I was looking at one and the only problem is the dia. of the flanges that I can see. It looks like you can port the fanges for 3in but is the cats inner Dia. big enough not to become a bottle neck with a 3in down pipe and cat back?

That there Yank territory! I must stay south of the Mason Dixon for winter as Im still wearing short sleves! Its a long long way Pleasanton in prolly closer! Id love to meet you to bro but A Vishnu conference needs to be held in Texas! We got lotsa public street road courses as well as close to two major road tracks
