Playing with boost maps

Okay I was getting fuel cut tonight pretty bad and here is what I did. I have the stage 1+ map and I went into boost control and lowered all the values form 2000 - 4700 and now the boost goes from 18psi at 3500 19psi @4000 20psi@4500 and 21-20psi from 5,000 to redline. I like this better then the 23psi down low then the taper off. Anyone else mess with this thing? The problem I was having is when in 3rd if you hit the gas at 4-4500 it would get 23-24psi and hit fuel cut quickly now it hits 21-22ish and gets pulled down. This computer is so damn easy to use and I go it right the 1st time. I will post what my boost control looks like if anyone wants to see it.

I too had boost/fuel cut issues and was able to successfully lower boost using Xmap...it's really pretty easy to do. I can't help to think, however, that my tuning using a boost guage and butt dyno to monitor results close to optimum. I will someday (hopefully sooner than later) get my ride on a dyno and get my Xede tuned for "optimum performance". The changes I made were more from about 3000 to 5000 rpm with peak now about 21 to 22 psi on 92 octane.

Skol!

I guess you didnt get an XFlash or XEDE-Flash to get rid of fuel cut (do u still have boost cut as well?)?
I am currently impressed with this mid-band overboost, but I guess I have to hear it from end-users to really see what this apporach will be like performance-wise.
