Norris Designs EVO VII dyno runs

http://www.adyscars.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/videos.htm

543whp! That's 100 more ponies than our little shop EVO. Looks like we have quite a bit more work to do

Cheers,
shiv

Yep, nice numbers.... and I believe these were obtained about eight months ago....so who knows what power that car is now?....but with a fully built motor using Jun components and a custom intake manifold along with an extensive shopping list of other one offs...IMO, I think you are doing great at circa 440whp with stock internals on your shop mule.....

Does the Norris Evo run a stroked motor? Are those numbers on pump or 100 octane? Nice numbers one way or another.

MP5... I am in GA...and run a V stage1, without shift knob...

joeycoates....Norris evo I believe is only 2.0 litre...in the uk I am convinced the fuel is better than ours here in the states (93/94) in the uk the octane rating is calculated using the RON method and to date the highest "road" fuel available is shell optimax at 98.6....I am convinced that uk fuel is better suited to prevent knock activity...my father;s evo 7 is able to run 12.8 A/F at 6800 with no drama.... I think Simon Norris likes to run regular road fuel.

Ryanmcd3...I got your PM days ago and regarding your question I will let you know when the time comes ...cheers

Just found out after trying to research current HP on the Norris evo 7 and found out Simon blew his engine up around 3 months ago in an event called "The Fastest Caravan"...the event was a publicity stunt to pull a camper/trailer at speed...he was reported to be doing about 140mph when the 4g63 let go....

his engine never completly blew from that event[or they rebuilt it], think they even said only a piston blew in the video, as their evo VII was just updated this past month.
