Newbie question about the computer codes

I ordered the stage 1 with the standard turboback exhaust and the cat-delete, cam gears and the 264/272 cams. What do you guys mean throwing a cell? Also will the car's check engine light be on all the time or will the xede and the xflash get rid of that problem? Thanks I am still trying to learn about these awesome cars. I have only had mine for 2 days and already have 500 miles on it. I am trying to get the break-in miles before all the fun parts show up.

Throwing a CEL means that the Check Engine Light comes on.

I was told by a tuner (not Shiv) that it takes the car 50 miles or more to throw a CEL for cat inefficiency. You can reset the CEL by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes -- or maybe by unplugging the ECU for a few minutes, although I haven't tried that. Obviously, either solution renders the car undrivable while you reset the CEL.

Or just drive around with the CEL constantly reminding you that if you are driving on a public road, you are in violation of Federal law.
