Update your website!

I hate to say this Shiv but you need to update your site man, it has NO stage 1+ maps and I was a little pissed about the exhaust I got the non-sig is a LOT different then the one in the picks, the one I got has NO flex anywhere in it and the cat bolts on as well. Just update the site once a week or outsource it or something. I will say I was a little pissed off to get a different exhaust then what was pictured on your site. Also it says nothing about new xede features, or the firmware update for the xede, or needing a fuel pump for stage 1+ or products on the way. I told Brett and Ken about this but they said you do it and don't have time or something like that but it needs to be done for your users man just like a thread now about someone needing a map and it's not there. Also you need to disable you PM's because you never answer the damn things, glad I could help you out with the 2 wheel dyno vs the 4 wheel dyno even though you NEVER replay to the questions I ask you. This crap gets old quick....

lolrof, no not at all. I just think someone should not have to live on evom to learn about what Vishnu has coming out and to get support is that not what a website is for? It's like ordering a nice looking pizza from a good pizza joint and getting a 99c one from the frozen section, the picks of the exhaust are wrong so when I get it I was like WTF, I ordered what was on the SITE and got something different. It works well and sounds good just needs to update the picks. Also I noticed that prices change from week to week on some parts.

Ryan,
I spend several hours a day (weekends included) on this forum answering questions and PMs. When I get around to it, the website will get updated. Please understand that we are not an e-shop. We are shop that also happens to have a website. One that we try to keep up to date.

That's cool and I understand, but what if someone does not come on here everyday and say they have a stage 1+ that needs a fuel pump upgrade how are they going to know about it? Or a firmware update, or a map, or what's new. You should just take down your site and have a like to here then. Also list what you have in stock and what is not in stock. I don't want to call every week to see what's new but it seems that you have to because the webpage is outdated. Also about the exhaust differences are you going to fix that or let some others get a exhaust that is not like the one on the page?

Ryan, you definitely earned a lot of respect from me this weekend by the way you stuck up for what you believed to be right on that Buscher/Al thread. However, how did you screw up so bad when ordering that exhaust? The website clearly spells out the differences between the Signature and the non-sig exhaust. There is even a considerable price difference. At least you saved some cash... Also, you could have shipped it back.... I personally think the exhaust you got might make more horsepower. Isn't it a true turbo back while the Sig is actually a dump back?

Now check this out, on the picks it has a FLEX section on it, my exhaust does not have that. I was told "It is just like the one on the website only without the o2 deal" Now it is not it has NO flex on it at all, I wanted one with a flex and it did not matter on the cost they said ALL OF THE EXHAUSTS HAVE A FLEX, and that was NOT the case. MP5 got the same deal. Order one up you will see it's not like the picks on the webpage. Also it rattles a little against the heat shield and you have to hammer that back a little too. Also we are talking about the NON-SIG dump back.

The non sig exhaust pictured on the website is the turbo-back. Since it does not have the factory spring loaded swivel joint, it has a flex joint. The non sign dump-back meets joins up to the factory swivel joint and does not need a flex joint.

We use a flex joint in the signature exhaust to help with fitment and to keep the support braket which bolts up to the tranny housing from breaking due to vibration. Also unique to the sig exhaust is the v-bands. Hence the extra price.

Both dump-backs perform identically with the only significant difference being the basic design and sound (non sig is a quieter due to presence of the resonator).

my 2c,
shiv

Hey bro, it looks like you are right about the flex joint. I stand corrected.
That describes the turbo-back, not the dump-back.

I will have to agree with Ryanmcd3. Your website does need to updated in a serious way. I think we are a little off topic here, it is not just about the pictures.

From reading this forum Vishnu Tuning has ALOT more stuff for Evos than what is stated on the website. I don't know where you are going to find the time, but if your website was up to date you probably wouldn't get so many posts because all the information would be on your website, one place .

I know you guys are not an 'e-shop' but websites are a great marketing tool. Look at it from the basic consumer's point of view. In a few months thousands of people all over the world will read an article in SCC with a shootout of Evo tuners you. Will be one of them, must likely at the end of the article will be listed your information with your webiste on it. THAT is the first place they are going to look to find out information about Vishnu Tuning and the parts available, not evolutionm.net forum. What will they see? ...nothing on the car that was run in the shootout.

Put it this way, there is more information on the different maps available in this forum than on your website, there are more dyno-graphs on this forum than on your website, ... the list goes on.

Just my 2 cents.

Gotta agree that the site needs work. All or most of the info is there, but is not layed out nicely for the lay person to identify and use. IMO, kinda messy. Your skills and talents are not with designing websites. Invest in a pro to take care of it, it will pay for itself in the long run. Invest your time on what you're good at, tuning & r&d.
