Xede Boost control
Ya, and I keep it inside it's not outside any and when it's warmer out the thing does fine, or if I run into a store and come out in say 1 hour it starts fine and does it's clicking deal.

Sorry to hear about you having so many problems with your Xede Ryan. Last night we went to Dave&Busters in Gwinnett be glad you didnt come actually we froze our as*'s off until we finally went inside.Next time during the day for sure. Hope you can get it finally running right. It seems it just keeps ocasionally giving you problems. Maybe when you get the 93 map it will be ok

I can update your firmware as well. This should tell me if the problem is the XEDE or the harness or something else.Shiv
Okay but what do I do when my car is down for a few days? I can give you a CC# or something then send me a xede and I can send this one back for you to test then we can swap again or something. Also should the xede do it's clicking on the 1st min regardless of the temp outside?

At this point, no. I can't help but think that something else is going on since you are the only one with this issue. If you send me your XEDE and harness, I'll stick it on the bench and test it. Heck, I can even stick it in the freezer for a bit first

Disconnecting the XEDE will not disable your car. You can still drive around perfectly safely. I don't understand what you mean about the clicking. Regardless, the clicking is a function of the factory ECU boost control, not the XEDE. I have yet to figure out why it behaves the way it does. It's behavior is as erratic as its boost control. That's why we bypass it all together. Give us a call tomorrow and we'll figure out what to do.

My XEDE performs in a similar way when when its cold out. The XEDE will not click when the engine is started, or under boost untill it has been running ten minutes or so. The rest of the day there are no problems unless it sits for a long period of time. I do not get any cel codes or stalling issues like Ryanmcd3.

Just talked to Ryan on the phone. It is completely normal to not hear clicking of the relay when the car is cold. This is because the factory ECU does not run it's boost diagnostics until the car is up to temp. Nothing to worry about.

I've had this issue since it turned cold here in Colorado. I keep the car in a garage (unheated) and when I start it in the morning it seems to run ok, but after it has been running about two minutes I hear a series of very fast clicks from the Xede. It only lasts a second or two, and it is the ONLY time I hear the thing click. It always runs fine once it's warm, and even when it's cold I don't have problems with it stalling or anything. In fact, with everything I read about the units clicking under boost, I've wondered why the only time I hear it at all is that quick burst of clicks when it's warming up.
