XFlash ECU ship in.. Dumb question
XFlash ECU ship in.. Dumb question
I just pulled my ECU. Its the smallest ECU to come out of any car I've ever owned.
Do I need to pull the metal mounting bracket off the ECU or ship them together complete?
Edit: Also, what is the value on these things? How much should I insure it for through FedEx? Its going out overnight tomorrow morning.

Hi Noize-- No need to pull off the metal bracket. Leave it one and just ship it as is. All I really need, of course, is the ECU unit. Go ahead and insure it for 600 since that's about how much a new one costs from the dealership.

Thanks, Shiv! I'm getting very excited to have a stage 1 Vishnu car. Thanks also Brett for being so patient with me on the phone and always taking the time to answer my questions.
I'll call the shop with my ccard number on Tuesday to pay for the reflash, cam gears, and overnight freight back to me. I appreciate you guys a lot.
