Well, Shiv was right. The REALLY loud exhaust noise I was experiencing after installing my race pipe was due to it being installed upside down. It fit fine, looked fine, but sounded like someone was stuck inside there with a hammer during acceleration. I turned it around and it now seems a lot better (except the o2 sensor is a bit close to the undercarriage). Be careful when you do yours.

BTW, it rained all over SoCal today so sorry *** Carlsbad dragstrip was closed.

 

I never realized the test pipe could be upside down. How can you tell if it's installed correctly?

I can tell you one way: do it wrong and it will sound like crap, then flip it over.

 

I wish they would sell one that looks like a cat but is really a straight pipe.That would be a perfect stealth pipe.
