Whats up guys,

I can't seem to get any faster than a 0-60 in about 4.3-4.4 seconds with a Stage 1+ running on 91 octane.

Is this normal?

Also, i have a feeling that the ignition is pulling timing b/c as a creep closer towards redline, the car slows down a little.

 

anyone?

 

Did you have your car tuned by Shiv or are you runing a base map?

 

Sounds pretty damn fast to me. Espicially for 91oct. What were the ambient temps. when your were getting your times?

 

im running a base map. and actually, i found out something interesting over the past week.

I had it dynoed again, and with the stage 1+ , i was only making about 30hp more, and no more torque. I talked with Shiv and something may not be installed correctly, b/c i should be making a lot more horsepower than that.

so, the bad news is, my setup is messed up somehow

the good news, even with only 30 hp more, there were still decent acceleration gains.

 

How did you talk to Shiv? I have tried to get a hold of people at Vishnu and it's pratically impossible. I have had the same problem as you. I noticed a difference with the installed equipment but when I dyno'd it I was also disappointed with my gains. Only a little over 20 hp. I'm thinking it's the cam gears. Is Shiv coming to the East Coast anytime soon?
