Can't find XUPDATE

K, I've looked and I can't find the XUPDATE on the Vishnu site. Is the only way to update the Xede(Xmap) to the version to to click on the link in the Vishnu forums?

I think the new xmap takes the place of xupdate and xmap. xupdate was used for updating the xede maps where xmap was used for modifying the maps. Xmap now does both. I recently used it to upload my secondary map.

They don't work with certain types of hardware (GPS's, XEDE). They do work for some things though. What you need to use with the XEDE is a PCMCIA->Serial adaptor. They will work with anything (I have yet to hear of anything that didn't see it as a true serial port). The only problem is that they are pretty spendy.
