What is everyone's stage 1+ so much faster?

My car is running 19.91 psi (1.4kg/cm^2) boost from shiv's custom map modified by me to lower boost because i had fuel cut since I do not have the reflash to raise the boost cut.

Boost cut is at 22psi correct? It seem that everyone's elses 1+ run mid 12's

You can turn the boost up again now it is getting warmer outside..how did you lower the boost across all of the cells? if you just modified that portion of the custom map it is probably running as rich as a pig....

I just changed the first column of 100's to 98 and my boost cut went away. It's like one day 60 and another 30's here and if i run to aggressive on boost it'll cut like crazy on the freeways. Guessed i should of gotten the reflash and set it at 22psi's.

With that much temp variance an xede flash sounds like the way to go....where are you... orbiting the earth?

pay attention to whether these times are acquired while on race gas or pump gas....

you should be shifting at or near redline in every gear.

especially with vishnu stage 1+, optimal torque is had by shifting at or near redline. even if it doesn't "feel" right, you are actually sacrificing torque that can be had in the current gear by short-shifting.

for example, on my car, in most gears the optimal shift point is aroud 7700rpm, even on 91 octane gas!

That short 1-2 upshift definitely did not help you.

When I look at gear spacing and the dyno curve on my stage 1, I think the best shift points are as follows:

1st: 7000
2nd: 7200
3rd: 7400
4th: Hold it as long as you can, baby! You'll need a stage 2 to trap high enough to max this gear out anyway.

My car did dyno at altered between 309-312 whp on their awd dynojet with shiv's map. Sure looks like eveyone is running higher boost with reflash to get the extra HP for the 110+MPH. I realize my mph is alway around 107+. This concludes that my car is weaker. I do not like the higher boost because it sometime does a boost cut at random and very annoying. I guess you guy whom decided to opt for the reflash lucked out. Now I'm advising others to do the reflash if some of you decide to go with the Stage 1+ to benfit from the cams.

Now my car is like the stage 1 since i can't benfit from the cams if what you guys say holding for more RPM's is faster is true.
Because no reflash =
1. boost cut at 22psi
2. fuel cut at 7400rpm's?

You guys running stock clutch? My stock clutch isn't gripping if i launch really hard (1.7 60ft) and slip when reving toward 6+rpm when that happens

Also I always getting a PO420 catalyst inefficency code. If any could help with resistor setup please advise.

$100 reflash and you can put the XEDE's map back to what Shiv tuned AND you won't hit boost cut in the midrange. What are you waiting for? Overnight the ECU to Vishnu and get an XEDEflash.

Get the XEDE Flash for $100. I just reinstalled my ECU (with XEDE Flash) and it makes a huge difference. I live in MN, so I understand what you are experiencing with the temp swings.
