I was just thinking, now that you have an "in" at , do you think you could talk to someone about getting your hands on a helical front diff from the RS? I love the balance of my cars shocks and springs and would love the increased exit speeds the diff would allow. I love my Xflashed GSR and love my ABS. The front diff would be the icing on the cake. The RS is a great car, i just don't like that I can't get all of the goodies and ABS (even with the Urban Jungle Package) that come on my car. The MR is cool but I'm sure after I upgrade to stage 1, my car will be way faster.

I remembered reading this from SCC which may be of interest:

"It's not surprising the ABS was deleted with the addition of the helical LSD up front. After all, making ABS work along with three limited-slip differentials is a neat engineering trick that, so far, can only be accomplished with an active center diff."

It makes it sound as if it is not possible to simply add on the front helical LSD with ABS.

 

Hiya-- We're running front and rear clutch-type diffs on our race car and have yet to see any odd ABS behavior. It did fry itself, however, at the last track event. But I think the sensors just overheated

From what I've heard, the helical front diff will bolt in to our transmissions. But it's pretty expensive. Expensive enough to look at other, higher durability, options for Cusco, Kazz, Quaiffe, etc,. I'm sure we'll learn more in the near future
