I thought I'd chime in here and take a quick few seconds to say that the Xflash was installed and boost tee with no problems. The car started right away and there was no idling problems.

Impressions:

The flash is working as advertised. I am getting much better gas mileage (the big highlight actually since I hated the low gas mileage I was getting). The low end torque is very good (at about 0 -.3bar) and feels like the engine wants to go. Top end is much improved with 1.4 bar (20.5psi) all the way to redline.

Thanks for such a fine product. I will be sure to send it in for future upgrades since it is relatively free and maintains very little modification to the stock car.

Can you tell us more about the car that SCC tested in the June 2004 issue. The article was the nudge I needed to trade in my G35 for an Evo.
I particularely liked the curve that showed dramatically improved low end torque.
Can I expect the same with a simple XFlash?
As a little tutorial - what's "sub-optimal" with Mitsu's ECU program, and why?
What's the hp/torque effect of the 264/272 cams? Tried to find information on stock cams but can's find data anywhere.
