There is enough tubing to cut 1 inch off and still reach the solenoid...I got frustrated and "snip"
One thing though, I had to fiddle a bit with the boost male/female pin connectors to get a tight fit.

Yeah... The install was a breeze. The pill was a pain in the *** to get out, but the feeling of accomplishment when it finally popped out (Followed by 15 minutes of where the hell did that thing go) were worth it. Definitely a neat product. i'll be hooking up a wideband and my laptop to it soon to see where the tune sits on this basemap.

Easiest way is to just remove the airbox completely and use your teeth to work the pill out of the boost line

Just a small drop of WD-40 in the hose with a small pair of needle nose pliers to do the squeezing worked well for me. No sore fingers.

I tried pliers, but they had ridges that were a bit too sharp and were nicking the line a bit on the outside so I didn't want to risk damaging it. Tried it with a shirt in between the pliers and the hose and that didn't work. I actually thought about putting oil in the line, but the idea of oil going through wastegate diaphragm just didn't seem like something I wanted to encourage, lol. I'm going to try to get some before and after dyno numbers plus the wideband readings and I'll be sure to post whatever I end up with so people can see where the tune sits on a stock evo on 93 octane.

Whats up with no official vishnu install places in texas? I personally do my own work, but there are a ton of evos here w/non-mechanic owners, lol. I know of a shop that might be interested, but is it just hard to qualify for or what?

We Texans have the fortitude to do it ourselves But we know some people dont belong under the hood and just give your shop our # and we can discuss details with them .

And some Texans are stranded up North, like here in Cincinnati. This San Antonio boy still misses the Hill Country, even the Houston lowlands where I trained. You wouldn't believe what they call "chili" here. Give's me the ******* (BTW, ******* WAS better than Goode Company in Houston before he left town.)

Doug (looking forward to the Chicago Tunarama this weekend...)
