Verifying correct map uploaded

Just took out the Utec to give the xede a try. The instructions are a little confusing to me.

I need to know how I can verify I uploaded and burned the correct map. I am not even sure I did that right. I opened xmap2 and created a new bank with the stage 0+ 93 octane map. It asked me if I wanted to burn it and I said yes. Was this the correct procedure?

Also, is there a stage 0+ 100 Octane map? My cams and cam gears are going in next weekend, but would like to run a race gas map this week at the track. I want to compare the xede to the utec, and I ran it with 104 octane and a more agressive map.

thanks for the info - marc

Sounds like you did everything right. Only way to verify the map you want to run is to download the map from the Xede and view the tables and see if it's the correct maps. It isn't elegant and I hope newer versions of XMap will address this.

***DON'T run the Stage 0+ 93 octane map. It's flawed. If you're going to run it, first change the values in the KNOCK ABSOLUTE table. They should be 20, but for some reason they're 1.0, which if i'm not mistaken will desensitize the knock sensor. Not safe IMO.

I just downloaded it and it's still the same file displaying a 1.0 value in the knock table. This was just recently brought up by someone else and Shiv says to set it at 20.

If you can't get a 100 octane map you try turning up the boost with the 93 octane map from 4k rpms on. Should be safe with 100 octane. Still got your wideband and ODBII logger? If so, use them and slowly turn up the boost from 4k-5k rpms.
