Question for Shiv
Hi,
I am still having trouble with my xede, despite Noodle's efforts (BTW thanks Patrick). The idiot light continues to come on. I'm really dumbfounded here. When you received my ecu did you deprogram Al's initial code that I asked you to do??? I'm just searching for answers, as this light bugs. I can't think of what to do in order to stop the car from picking up knock error codes. Is it possible that I could come down there on Saturday to have you look at the car?????

Argh... sorry man, i'm at a loss. I don't know what else to suggest, but perhaps remove the Xede and run without it to see if the SES light still comes on.
Shiv if you read this we...
-Cleared any existing SES codes on the ECU. It only had P0325: Knock Sensor Circuit
-Verified that the correct green boost wire was used with the Xede.
-Verified ground wire made good contact with ground source.
-Verified correct Stage Zero map was loaded and burned in.
-We left the pink(knock) Xede wire disconnected from the harness like suggested earlier.

Is it possible that I could just meet you up there on Saturday??? I really can't afford these rental cars. I believe you are a 3 1/2 hour drive. That would be worthwhile for me if you can solve the problem.

Saturday is fine. As for rental cars, there's really no reason to get one. Your car will run just fine without the the XEDE. Didn't you say that there is a 10mm socket lost in your engine somewhere? If there is, I wouldn't drive it until it is recovered.

I just got back from the mechanic. There is no socket in the floor board of the car anymore. It must have fallen out. In any event what time Saturday should I show up at???? I think that if you could flash my ecu to stock and/or check this Xede out that you might find the problem. The car never had these problems before the install. Maybe Al's dreaded tune is still flashed on this cpu. I'll be up there on Saturday. I just need a time, so that I can prepare for the long drive. Please let me know Shiv, and I appreciate the help.
