I noticed today I can't hear it click anymore. Light on Xede is green. Boost setting on Map is set at 100%. Is this normal?

Yep, wires still connected I checked them today. Boost seems to be OK, maybe a bit low in 1st -3rd at 1.3 -1.35 bar, 4th and 5th 1.4-1.45 bar then tapering to 1.25 after 6.5k rpms.

OK had the Aussies look over my shoulder the last batch and the batches from now on have the solenoid epoxied so no more clicking please check to see if there is a small drill hole in the top of the small black box on the wiring harness. Your boost looks good pm me your addy and we can discuss if you could use a bleeder

Also, don't worry about if you hear clicking or not unless you get a CEL for wastegate solenoid circuit. If the relay isn't working, you will throw it immediately. If you are CEL free, it's working just like it should so no worries.

shiv, under Dave's account

So can you post a picture where to drill?

At this point I hear the clicking in my dreams. Not good....

First look at the big rectangular relay on your harness board. It is likely that there is already a hole drilled into the top of it. If so, you will also see some clear epoxy stuffed into it. If it is still clicking loudly, it is because the epoxy didn't sink far enough to make the relay stick. What we do is use a heat gun to heat up the epoxy again and a little toothpick to push it downwards. Of course, be careful or your goijng to melt other plastic components on the harness. Best if we do it but if you wanna take a stab at it and are willing to accept the risks, it's not that hard to do.

I got me Xede in June but have never heard any clicking. Do the new ones not click? I have never gotten a cell.

If I send mine in for the resistor fix (not loading on start up) will you fix the clicking too? That is why I have been holding off...

Some are really quiet. Just depends on how far the epoxy crept down into the relay
