My virgin vf39 will be here tomorrow, I plan to install it and the walbro fuel pump that evening. Friday night I'll be at a parking lot tailgaiting for the LSU/ GA game the folowing day. I have a feeling I'll be hurting come Sunday morning.

Hey NewOrleansGuy, get your tune on Sunday and you can tag along to the LSU game.

Oh and Andrew, I also want some 110 to mix with my 93 so I can get a seperate tune on that as well for an upcoming track day, if Shiv has the time.

Thanks again Seth for the help with all this!!

Geaux Tigers!!!

I wish I could go to the game, but the wife is coming with me and she is a damn yankee and doesn't care about SEC football. Hmmmm, I have to look for a new wife come to think of it....LOL

Noize I know you can dot it. My car runs awesome once you and andrew fixed it.
Are you going to be putting Launch Control on your car at the dyno day?

Let me know how it works out.

Seth, What are the guesstiments on time for each slot? 1.5 hours per, and 1.5 for lunch? If so, its looking like the day will run from 8am to about 9pm?

Thank you sir!

And Shiv, can I get "user tune" and "map switching" enabled when you do the flash? (I assume it's a check box of some sort)

I know the map one isn't available yet for the STi but I want the feature enabled on the ecu so when it's ready, I'll be.

Thanks!

You have to put a switch on the XEDE harness for the map switching. Its not very hard to do. I used a small toggle switch from radioshack.

I'm getting ECUtek'd.

Map switching is done with the throttle pressed to the floor (100%) and pressing the rear defrost button (IIRC) to toggle between program one and two. Still not available for the 04+ Subys yet.

Unless they've changed it recently, map switching is only going to alter your boost settings (timing and fuel will remain unchanged). Can still come in handy....say for either a valet setting or if you want to run a little more boost at the track. I highly suggest purchasing Deltadash, as it's probably the best way to extract the most power out of that race gas tune you're wanting (outside of getting an xede). Deltadash will allow for timing, fuel, and boost pressure (wdc and target psi) changes, but only on a global basis.....i.e. not on an rpm basis.
