Stage 0 mapped =)
Stage 0 mapped =)
I have cam gears still sitting in the box. That's next weekend's project. Anyhow, we just got done putting together a custom exhaust last night, and it turned out pretty nice.
Anyhow, I also installed a Dynotune boost and EGT gauge. I'm peaking the stage 0 (with downpipe) at 22.8 psi, and the EGT is surprisingly high at low 600C during idle and up to 800C while cruising in fifth gear. WOT results in over 900C, about 930C or so, which is scary to me. I have the EGT probe mounted about 1.5" away from the head port for #2. It's close enough so that the heat shield fit without having to cut it.
Are these normalish EGT's on this car? Seems like it's very high.
