That is a great commercial - European car commercials are just so much more inventive and interesting, US commercials are the equivalent of being hit with a brick. Toyota/Scion is probably the only brand trying something different.

Anyone remember the Honda Accord commercial from the UK with the engine parts and wheels etc balanced in a massive domino effect? That was simply stunning.

the C4s are AMAZING CARS... tiny and ***ing fast as HELL... I drove a C3 when i was in germany..oooooooooooh man... it puts the evo to shame in a few areas..

Yeah, it's called clients being "cooler" in Europe. A lot of the blame for bad commercials falls on the shoulders of the client. There are a number decent agencies working on car accounts here in the states, though.

The Honda commercial in Europe was called "Cog." Honda here would never do that here. If you think they would, talk to anyone over at Rubin Postaer. There is an even "better" ad, where the sunroof "eats" a cat that looks into the car. The payoff was something like "The car thats got a bad side."

Volkswagon has a good agency, along with Saturn, Mini, Toyota, and Porsche. There others are more hit and miss.
