enquiry

Ryan,

OK, technology is a BEAUTIFUL thing...let me give you some dates;

22 NOVEMBER , I make a payment via Paypal to you for a set of cams for my EVO IX
18 DECEMBER , YOU ADVERTISE IMMEDIATE AVAILABILITY OF THE SAME CAMS FOR EVO IX

Even assuming that some time is needed for payments to " clear ", it is now 7 th January, I still do not have cams , tracking number , satisfactory reply, apology?!...
Explain this to me...

Get your money back from Paypal. If you make payment, it doesn't arrive within 2 weeks, ask the vendor what's up. If they have a tracking number, get it and track it. It better be on it's way, if not, or if they don't have a tracking number or you don't get a good response, contact Paypal and create a dispute to get your money back. People need to start protecting themselves.

Thanks for your unneeded input "xxazn2nrxx", but the cams have been sent, and they attempted to deliver them today. The bigger problem is that Cosworth needs to replace or correct them. Or you can make the correction yourself...

We have sent the remaining cams back to Cosworth.

Luis, let me know what you want me to do and I'll take care of it.

Brett

No offense or disrespect intended, it's just a simple rule people should follow. Buyer and Seller, if something is not going smoothly, communication is necessary. If the deal can not be resolved within a month, then the buyer should get their payment back until whatever problem is resolved. Neither party should not be left "hanging", but especially the buyer since they are fronting the money (They are the one in possible loss).

It's just doing good business. Not "hating" or "trashing" thrashing or whatever anyone or any company.

I read you, here's my problem,

1st - I got the cams today, a loooooooong wait, but enough said about that...

2nd - I have come across at least one other customer of yours, complaining of a problem with the cams, but this has been such a problematic deal, to get this cams from you, that I was sort of hoping it would go away,...now and by what you're saying, it is confirmed, THERE IS a problem with these cams?!
What problem exactly are we talking about here?
Fill me in ,AND THEN we'll take it from there...

3rd - Since you had knowledge of this issue, howcome I was still sent the cams, rather then being INFORMED /CONTACTED first, and then decide whatever ...

4th - Even after I took the trouble and expense of calling you ( VIA INTERNATIONALL PHONECALL) last thursday, ONE DAY BEFORE YOU SENT ME THE GOODS, and making sure , specifying that this CLEAR PULLEY COVER/PROTECTION was for an EVO IX, I still got sent the one for the EVO VIII?! Difficult to accept/understand!

Let me know what the problem is and we will take it from there...

Luis

Luis,

1st - agreed, and thank you.

2nd - there is a minor tolerance issue that can easily be resolved if you so choose to fix it yourself, but I cannot recommend you do so. You can see from the picture supplied by Cosworth the other thread that shows the problem.

3rd- We shipped these cams to you before we knew there was a problem. We would not and did not ship an incorrect item on purpose.

4th - I was unaware of this, but suffice it to say I have taken care of our shipping problems. (at least as much as possible at this point) Please email me at brett@vividracing.com and I will be more than happy to handle ALL OF THIS for you in a very timely matter.

Regards,

Brett
