I also vote for S15, but I would take an S14 over an S13. Now, when you say race car, do you mean race car or drift car? I haven't seen too many S15 race cars. Also, if you want to do something completely different, do a RB25 (did I get the numbers right) conversion. Screw the RB26 and SR20 (25 is the older Skyline engine). Sorry if I can't remember the engine numbers, I'm an Evo guy

 

I'm a big fan of Silvias, and I vote S13. An S13 with a tuned S15 SR20DET engine swap (with a nice amount of aftermarket parts added, of course) would be kinda cool to see. Plus I love how S13s look compact without looking too small.

 

How about you buy that Salvage title Evo (Theft with missing seats, wheels) and make that a race car. So you get a real car to start with

 

i love the s13 hatch if the right body kit was on it with the right engine. id be happy with a simple red top and couple of bolt ons.
