Quick question on the SMC Alky injection kit controller.
I've had my BR Alky injection kit (w/ SMC Controller) for just about 3 months.
So I recently decided to check the status of the system by pressing the "test" button on the controller (actually I had my friend press the button while I checked the pressure gauge located at the pipe adjacent to the intake manifold).
My questions are:
1. When the button was depressed is it normal to hear the pump activate noticably? I hear a slight rattling sound.
I guess when the pump is activated while driving you can never hear the pump over the car's engine noise / exhaust?
2. While the button was depressed and looking at the pressure gauge I saw that the needle on the gauge was not steady; it bounced between 100 psi. and 120 psi.
Is this normal?
I just wanted to find out before I call SMC or BR.
Thanks for any help.
