NEW Snow Performance Safeinjection Q&A...

New Improved SafeInjection™uses a flow meter to indicate flow rate and now comes with an adjustable trigger flow level. Boost and timing reduction system for use with the Boost Cooler® water/methanol injection system provides for safety even with the most aggressive tunes. Designed as an add on to the Boost Cooler® water/methanol injection system, SafeInjection™ provides for a safe tune in those instances where no injection is present and an aggressive tune is utilized. This system reduces boost and/or timing anytime injection quantity goes below a set point regardless of the reason (ran out of fluid, clogged line, etc.). This sets your vehicle into a "safe mode" making your tune instantly conservative for the ultimate in safe water/methanol injection.

I will have pics of the new unit shortly...

yea its pretty sweet, its smaller than the old unit which itself was pretty small...now no matter how big of a nozzle you switch to or if you sell the kit to someone else thats using a smaller nozzle or larger nozzle they can adjust the unit to work just right for you...

is there a DC voltage output WRT to flow for logging, failsafe and such on this flow meter?

I think the 0 - 5v output is to drive a digit display or a LED guage (both soon to be released) in respect to the flow. Good Idea to have in your face the flow of your methanol while driving I think - a leak would also send flow to the moon

Also, on a seperate circuit the flow sensing can be adjusted to trigger a failsafe once flow drops below whatever you have it set to - so you can basically tune it fairly close below what your running instead ofthe two amounts with the first units

As for logging he said he's thinking of making a driver for it in the future

15gph/945cc/min nozzle, its possible to calibrate the flow sensor to read

0vdc = 0 flow

5vdc = full scale 945cc/min flow?

not sure, but I think it might be closer to 2v = flow without nozzle (1/4" tubing) and < 2v = < flow down to 0.09 volts is my guess, but I don't even have the unit yet

Is the new "Evo specific" Stage 2D kit what you are referring to here as "Stage 3"? Or is there another new kit coming out in addition to the new Evo 2D kit released last week?

TIA for the clarification -
