I also just ordered all these tools for the install.

I will pass them along to whoever needs them for the install for half of what I paid for everything.

Thanks everyone for the guidance!

Papers? What are those? Haha, I have written one in years especially being an econ major.

I found the aluminum strips where the hardware was. Thanks for the heads up. I ended up spending $50 dollars on bolts, nuts, washers, and alum strips because I was compelled to get all stainless steel for no reason at all. I didn't like how the zinc coated ones felt or looked!

My Vermont American brand 1/8-28 BSP tap says to use with a 5/16" (7.9 mm) drill bit?

this drill/tap chart says to use 8.8mm or 11/32" for 1/8 BSP

In the thread linked below is some helpful info and some additional links that have charts detailing which drill size to use for particular taps.
http://www.srtforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=318464

Undersized drill is better then oversize but you want to avoid using the tap to not only cut threads but also enlarge the opening........the cut threads get ugly or in some instances the tap will break.

I have the tap in the link that I posted. It's not pointy. I guess I'll go ahead and use the 11/32nds bit that I already have. Thanks, all.

Anyone have any of these tools lying around they'd be willing to lend out? Specifically, I need the 1/8 BSP tap.

With a bit of care, you can use a NPT tap.

Need to test fit every 1/4T or so.
