Running higher boost with meth

Another question before i get tuned.

TTP is running 30 plus PSI on his stock turbo with meth on 93 oct. If you look at his meth kit it has all the basic stuff a meth kit has- besides 1 thing- 1000cc injectors.
My question is should I get injectors to be more safe and or to be able to run higer boost more safely?

that depends on what mass ratio you plan on running. if you are going to run a huge nozzle of meth, your fuel mixture will contain much more meth and therefor the primary injectors will not need to be to big. you should be able to make a pretty good estimate of what size injectors you will need with a few calculations, and an idea of how much boost you want to run, as well as the size and flow rate of the meth nozzle you have.

1000cc injectors are really big for a stock turbo. far bigger then necessary for 93oct, unless they are targeting a really short ijector pulse width, or they are running E85 or other type of fuel through the gas tank.

lol, I don't know how big this nozzle is or know what mass ratio im going to be running. Im giving it to my tuner and hes going to install and tune it.
I have the HFS-1, stock turbo, stock motor, and If can run more boost safely by just doing injectors. Maybe I should do them.
Which ones though?

You definitely do not need 1000cc injectors by any means. KevinD has it all right, the question is, what size injectors are you running??

Im only asking cause I saw TTP is tuning his costumers on 92 oct @30 psi. His kit has all the basic crap any other kit has, but the 1000cc....so I was thinking if I did upgrade injectors I could get more out of this HFS-1 kit???????

I think he meant he is running 1 1000cc injector for the meth.

I would listen to exactly what the tuner recommends to you. Methanol is safe if used correctly with the proper tuning and safegaurds. But it can also be very deadly as seen in many threads lately. Listen to the tuners advice and do whatever you can to protect the health of your motor.

oh for sure
Im going to talk to him later today about this issue.

Like I said - If I can spend 200 -300 bucks on injectors to get 4-6 PSI SAFELY then lets do it!!

This is correct. Someone is listening... One spray nozzle, 1000cc.

Stock injectors on the Evo are sufficient with meth injection, period.

Aquamist HFS-1 uses up to two spray nozzles.

So using stock injectors which meth kit is ideal and do you have any idea on how quickly the meth gets utilized? I have some friends that the meth is pumping as soon as 16psi and that to me seams a little soon shouldn't you want it where ever you are maxing out on gas?

No, because you want it spraying well before it is needed to deter detonation.

It is even more important on stock and small turbos as full boost hits in under a second. It needs to react quickly before full boost is reached.

So then 16psi would be good for it to start pumping or would sooner be required?
