Crazy idea or not?
I am going to be playing with large doses of nitrous in the near future. I have run up to a 75 shot before my current build. Now here is where it is going to get interesting. I now have 1000 cc injectors for my 50 trim. Yes I know they are bigger than I need, but I want to run e85 down the road. Anyway. I was thinking that insted of increasing the fuel jet as I increase the nitrous jet, I may add the needed fuel via the injectors. I have enough headroom on the injectors to do it. I figured that this way the fuel delivery is more reliable and perfectly distributed to each cylinder. I run a utec so I have 5 maps on hand at the flip of a switch. So yes, I would have a seperate map for this. I also allow the utec to act as a window switch so that I could time the fuel delivery perfectly to the settings in the window switch. Tune would of course be done on a dyno. Not the kind of experiment that you want to try with a road tune. Any comments are welcome other than "just say no to Nitrous" I am trying to start an intelligent discussion here.

Well I am going for it. I rippped out the fuel solenoid last night and I am going to a dry shot. It just seems to make more sense if you are running a standalone or piggyback where you can have a nitrous only map. I have plenty of injector headroom. I'll keep you all posted.
