You should save the meth for when you get your other support mods on. After you get those mods, then you will need a tune anyway for the meth.

If you have everything, I would put on the mods then get your shop to put on and tune the meth all at the same time. As for the BOV, get the JDM MR. For 120 bucks it should be good at your boost level. With the meth you will probably do around 28 psi.

I just replaced my JDM MR DV because it would not hold 30 lbs, 27 was the most that I could get out of it. I went with the Forge RS.

the JDM MR BOV will not work to well at anything above 24psi....it will start to leak....so if your going to do meth and run high boost you need a better BOV. like APS TwinVent or TIAL or the other real popular one that i cant think of the name for...but it has a RS in it...

No that's fine, I wasn't being sarcastic or anything, I'm only running 24psi so I wouldn't know. Good input

For those mods I wouldnt really do meth. Its basically a stock evo with an intake and exhaust, so running 27-29 psi is probably not the smartest idea. I would do cams, injectors and fuel pump with the meth kit. But even then, your stock intercooler would be heat soaked very quickly with high boost. Also, with high boost many people will start mentioning head studs. As far as BOV, my jdm mr has seen 27psi with no leaks. It can be crushed to hold 30+ psi. PM me if you have any questions...

EDIT: nvmd... this thread is from june

Meth will always help keep the temps down and keep detonation to a minimum.

I say do it.
