hey guys, i have a 2006 evo IX with the labonte isg-10 meth kit. i am using the M12 nozzle. i am using the boost switch to activate the pump, failsafe and control solenoid... I was boosting at 31-32psi... for the past week or so the car hasnt been running to well and the failsafe is kicking me down to 18psi and not letting me go past that... trip point on the failsafe is set at 500ml/min... the failsafe light is just blinkin at me throughout a gear pull. i talked to dan at labonte and he said when its blinking like that it means theres an over flow thats tripping the failsafe. i dont have any leaks or anything and my AFR's are just a tad richer than what they were when i got it tuned... anyone else ever have this problem? any idea what could be causing the failsafe to trip?

well what i did to get it to run right... i unplugged my failsafe... took the car for a spin and it ran like a champ... i thought there was something going on with the fail safe because i checked allll my wiring and the meth lines and everything and for some reason the fail safe was still kicking me into waste gate pressure... i sent the fail safe back to Dan at labonte and he tested it and said that it was working fine... when i get it back ill put it on the car and see if it will work. if it doesnt, i dont know what to do to keep the car running good with the failsafe...
sorry i didnt post sooner...
I'm having the same problem with the kit. It sent me straight to waste gate pressure and I was only running a few pounds of boost. For now I just unhooked everything until I can solve the problem. Someone around here who installed the kit also had the same problem and said all that they did was hook up the two LED's that came with the kit and it worked perfectly, why that would matter I have no idea but I'm gonna give it a try!

well we will try that.....
the only thing i dont like about this is that there is no DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS on how everything is supposed to work and how to set it up....
when i did my aquamist kit there is like a 30 page thread on everything you need to know about how to install and set up the kit........
but dont mind me as im just venting

You guys missed what I was saying there. Lowering the failsafe to 200 got it working right. Installing the LED's lets you know if the pump and failsafe are operating. Green light meth is spraying, red light failsafe has tripped and lowered your boost to wastegate pressure.
im also using the Boost Switch and not the Vc-25D controller...
