I'm in the market for a meth kit. I was going to do cams, I want something that i can do myself. I was looking at the snow performance kit because of the price, and they do have a failsafe available. But then i hear about how good the aquamist kit is, but the price is alittle out of my price range, And I liked the kits that they offer as well..

My question.. If I get the Mitsubshi Snow Performance kit, can I purchase the Aquamist gauge and how up? I was looking online and found a place that had them and it said that you can install with most any meth/alch. kit.

Well to answer your question about Aquamist. Well I have been doing research myself and I can say it seems to be the best and safest. Before someone blast me on the safest comment. I mean come on. You have a on and off plus a gauge. You have flow sensor. Now depending on how you want to wire you failsafe you can wire it to pull timing, switch to a lower boost setting, or switch maps. Plus depending on how you drive Aquamist might be better for you. Take for example myself I was going to do Snow Performance or AEM and wire in a MAC valve to bypass boost if the failsafe is triggered. The only downside for those kits for me is I'm not going to really pushing the car hard. Only at the track. Plus those kits read boost pressure if I'm not mistaken. I prefer Aquamist can it reads my injector pulse to fire the system.

But I will safe if you plan to stay stock turbo those kits AEM or Snow is perfect for you. As for the wiring of the gauge to the Snow system. You should PM Ultimate CC(Snow Dealer very good guy) and Richard L(Aqaumist) They would be able to tell u if it can be done and how
