aquamist ?
aquamist ?
I'm going to be purchasing a Hfs-1 kit soon.. i just don't know how I'm going to implement my failsafes.
I have a greddy ebc so the mac valve i shouldn't need correct? I just split into that valve?
I also have the zeitronix, but don't know where to begin to implement a failsafe for that.
also for people that use the stock windshield bottle. I know the cap is vented. has anyone had problems with fumes or leaking from cutting for the system

It is not necessary to use a MAC valve when you have a stand-alone EBC. You need need to cut and splice one the the wire between the EBC and BCV, preferably the pulsed leg.
Does the Zeitronix has a pair of voltage free relay contact?
If you are concerning about the fume, I would run a small bore tube to the outside.

the zeitronix does not have voltage free contacts.
The way I use my Zeitronix failsafe is to keep it seperate from the Aquamist kit that I have. The zeitronix is set so that if the car over boosts, or leans out, the box flashes red and beeps, and I get off the throttle......simple.
I have been using the stock washer bottle recently. No leaks or issues with it working properly. No fume problems, although to be honest I have no EVAP canister and an external dump 02 housing, so my car smells terrible all the time anyway, lol.

do you have a pic where you have the box/red led mounted. I haven't bought this yet, but seems like a good idea.. I dont' not as of now use the triggers. I just use the zt2 to monitor if i make minor changes to the car. peace of mind basically.
