need quick fix...two things see pics.. meth injection
lol snowtech maybe you're new at snow but you guys used to use an ag pump with viton seals. in fact, the really old school kits needed check valves because the old shurflo pumps didn't have the built in check valve function that they do know. i also remember the first snow kit i worked with had a blue controller and used compression fittings instead of the john guest type.
anyways, you may not use shurflo at all now but to say you never used a plain-jane shurflo pump is a flat out lie.

I have been here for awhile now and I have seen the old blue controllers, but that was indeed well before my time. The pump in this thread looks like the units that were phased out right as I was coming in, and they used sanoprene diaphrams, not sure on the seals. That model pump used EPDM either during the whole run or most of it, and the gen after did too as do the new ones.
Just to clairify....
We never used a plain-jane Shurflo, we used them with EPDM seals and other modifications. Having said that, the new SHO pump is superior. Being that he is an existing customer, we also help him out that regard even if the system is extremely old.
Come to think of it, I think we may have already handled this one.

I like your new SHO pump, same pump we started using over a year and a half ago.
we have some of the blue controllers if anyone would like one, also have some of the original VC-25s that were in a plastic box with a flip up lid
