However, I am having some issues where my voltage output to the pin 24 of the ecu. I did not use the jamie harness however im using a 10k 1/4w resistor. I am getting 12volts on this wire which is perfect for the MAc valve but dangerous for the ecu. I understand it suppose to be >5volts. Any help would be appreciated!!

 

Thought this would have been an easy fix for one of the gurus . No suggestions?

 

Which version of the DDS3 are you using?

Bummer, DDS3 V10 has a 5v output.

You will need to make or buy an Altmap harnesss. My suggestion would be to use ecu boost to drop boost and forget the mbc/Mac valve combo.

 

I have tried ecu boost control before and I just dont like it. I prefer the simple stuff. Once I know the Altmap harness will work I just buy one. Cheaper than upgrading to v10 anyways..

 

Back at this again yes!!! I have made my own harness and now I get 4.8v going to the ecu pin. My ICS light flashes when I turn on my aquamist gauge to show Im in the alt map mode however when I do logs it still shows that its using the Main Maps. Anyone had this issue before? I figure it has to be switching since the ICS light flashes ..Settings:

Alternate map Time to Active = 500ms
" " Load Threshold = 110 load
" " ADC0F Threshold = 3.02 volts


Enable Alternate Map Master = ADC0F = 1

 

Common... someone has had this problem before?

Yes I was using the wrong ROM for my ecu. I use the 90556701 SD rom and it works fine!
