I'm on my way back to cali after living in different states for the past 5-6 years. I now own an evo and race when every I can afford an event and maintenance.
My questions are these...I need to do an oil change and I'm driving my car from Salem, OR to La Palma, Ca though lots of snow and ice. Should I change the oil and use 10-30w and change it when I get there...That's fine, or should a put something in that's better for Cali weather? When I lived there before I drove a V6 now that I have the Evo should I use synthetic straight 30 or what?
Also I'll be in the Orange County/LA area, where's some of the best places to race? AutoX, or Track Days.
Hope to meet a few other Evo owners and hang out.
