We organized and succeeded in launching the flagship CAL SLAM event with a negative budget and plenty of grief, but luck and good weather was on our side! Cheers and

NEWS FLASH: NO MORE 0 0 0 CAMPAIGN FROM 02/2003!
Got to see a fax @ my
dealer today that said as of February, marketing will yank the 0 0 0 campaign.
Instead, dealers can give away 1 year of free gas or free detailing, etc.
Finally, it recommended that dealers hold "special events" like meets and barbecues.
This opens the door for dealer-sponsored CAL SLAM and regional enthusiast meets in the near future.
superGTO and I have agreed to work together towards the goal of holding our next meet as a dealer-sponsored event.
We are considering a CAL SLAM Stage One-Point-Five somewhere in Northern California.
When I have a contract in writing, signed by a sponsor, I'll start a new thread.
Until then, I suggest you explore the opportunities in your area.

i know there were a armada of you with cameras.
i'm just waiting on mine getting back from the photo shop(had to mail them off...one of the downs of living in a tiny town)
