Just have him in the car (with a helmet) when you run....if you run 12 sec, and "if" they say something, then obviously he cant go next time. They are not going to know how fast your car is. Simple as that. There is nothing in the rules that says otherwise.
There was a new SL55 AMG that went down the 1/4 mile with a passenger? You telling me those guys didnt know that car was capable of 12's?
Anyway, put a helmet on him/her, and try to run a 12.

yeah! they don't enforce until you actually ran 12s on the day. For example, you don't have to wear the helmet in the first run but if you did 13s then they'll tell you to put your helmet on when you pick up your timeslip.
The Yellow EVO with the L-CON engineering on the doors is owned by Doug Parks. It used to have Whiteline stickers on the sides. It has a 2.3L stroker and a GT35R, AEM EMS, the usual trimmings.
The Red EVO is Sam Zawahra's car, the owner of GT Motorsports in Rancho Cucamonga. Basically the same setup as the Yellow car but with the HKS 3037S turbo kit which is too small for the stroker but spools like mad.
It was the first time drag racing for both of them. Neither car was legal to run quicker than 11.49 so they weren't launching and/or were hitting the brakes on the first 2 runs, and then on the last pass of the night they both tried too hard and messed up really bad. Clearly not indicative of the capabilities of the cars, but I think they learned a lot. For being their first 3 drag passes ever, I think they did alright.
It was good to see a bunch of EVOs at the track though. I saw I think 9 EVOs total.

there was 12 when i counted.. 2 silver, 3 yellow, 2 white, 2 MR gray, 2 red, and 1 black... I was the Silver with the Blacked out Heads and tails.. my best was 12.3... and my best trap speed was 114mph... I need to work on my launch to get into the 11s.. i know my car is capable.. but my launching technique needs to change.. it was good to meet the other Evo drivers.. Me coming from Vegas.. and racing you guys was great... til next time.. I'll probably have a turbo Upgrade by then..
The three yellow EVOs were all running in the 11s, sweet!!!! To I know of, IE EVOs and GT Motorsports, but the other yellow one I'm not to sure on, anybody have any info on it, I believe it ran a 11.8@(Got to check the video tape). Great job last night, the EVOs really put on a show and were out in force!!!!

Son and father team and that car was featured in D-Sport or some other Mag a couple months back. Car has over 500 whp but due to the tranny locking them out at high rpms the times and trapspeeds are not a true representation of the cars capabilities.

Yeah my last post was referring to the previous event.
For this weekend, glad to see even more EVOs than last time!
The Desert Crane Yellow EVO is owned by the Rogers family and driven by either the father or the son depending on who wants to go that round. Pretty cool stuff. It dynoed 570awhp and is set up by Road Race Engineering. As was mentioned, the clutch and tranny haven't been cooperating too well so far, and the car is capable of running some good times if it all works together. This car was on the cover of DSport magazine last month.
The Yellow EVO of Doug Parks (L-CON Engineering/Audiobahn) is running about the same as last time but the driving is getting better. The car is so strong that it is hard to drive it. It was the first ever for it last time out and this time it did much better. The car still isn't legal for sub 11.49 runs so they get thrown out if they run hard every pass.
