Hello Cali members, I need help with a person in the Anaheim Area, I sent him a cashiers check for $140 dollars on Monday March 28th, he replied via PM on Sunday April 3rd at 1:13am he replied that he received payment then at 4:53pm on the same day he sent me a message that he lost or destroyed the check and wants me to send another. The problem at hand is this is a Cashiers Check and a bank cannot put a stop payment on the check for 6 months unless he can provide the original check in its destroyed state. He also asked me to issue another check for $5 dollars so he could shred this check and mail me back the pieces (CHECK FRAUD) I of course said no, now he is unwilling to ship me the product and I am being punished for his lack of organization. Can anybody help me.

tell him to suck your d!ck. Losing a cashier check is like losing cash. He acknowledged that he received your cashier check (same as cash) so if he happens to lose that ****, tough luck its his fault you already paid him. I dont know what you can do but you can probably contact the local police and have them check it out for you.
