Got pulled over tonight and received a "fix it" ticket that states I have to remove my exhaust before a court date to not get fined. My exhaust is welded together and will have to be cut to be removed! Anyone had this problem and found a way around it? A desk cop told me it wasn't a law, he even looked up the violation code and it was for emissions.

I read about others having this issue....just wondering if anyone has actually been charged for this?
