correct? now where at the market place are we meeting? i think the first post in the thread should be edited to say everything clearly, possibly even put a link to mapquest directions or something

 

hey kara you think we could have the next meet a lil closer i know irvine is close to you but its like almost 2 hr drives for some of us so we can;t have all meets in OC not fair...just my .02

uh, hanging out for a while in the biiiig parking lot, talking, gettin some in n out, and then heading over to Boomers... for some good ol fashioned kid fun. gokarts, racing video games, laser tag, the whole 9 yards!

 

i have been to several meets myself and i also have noticed that about 90% of them have been in orange county, i also live in the los angeles area and it takes quite some time to drive out there, it would be nice on occasions to have them down here or even half way.. i can only recall 2 meets that were down in this area and they were in the City of Industry at Speedway, that was cool. its just nice to know that everyone is thought of when choosing the location of meets. thats my .02

 

OC is actually not a bad location. theres lots of things to do there, and for those of us in the IE, like me in corona, and a few more members ive heard are from corona/riverside, OC is like right in the middle of things. its half way to LA, so if you compare us IE people to the LA people, you'll see OC is in the middle. i think OC is a great place to meet.

 

if anyone in the ventura, simi valley, or woodland hills area wants to do seperate meets at different times of the month, let me know maybe we can start something new for thoes who cant drive 2 hours away.

Im sorry guys, I'm not doing it cuase it's where I am, I'd have them farther away if that made things better, but OC is kinda in the middle of socal, inbetween Ventura and SD... didn't mean to keep doing that.
Also, would you guys be really sad if I postponed it to the week after the 12th??? there is so much going on that weekend, lots of sooby stuff, and bimmerfest is that day, and I've invited dtmpower (a big bimmer network, they are WAY nice.) and none of them would be able to go on the 12th.... let me know what you think.

 

next one I PROMISE will be in LA county.... is that closer for everyone???

We should move the meets around a little. Maybe next month in L.A. County, and then the following month farther south. I dunno, just to add variety.

Josh, The following weekend is Easter weekend, as well as an SCLC meet on the 19th if Richard doesn't cancel due to the holiday. But looking forward to seeing you another time.

Billy, I'm up for local meet over the Summer when I have a little more free time. Let me know.

 

i also would be down for some local meets, would be nice to kinda hang around the old hood for some meets and do some things out here.. As for there being lots of things to do in orange county, there are lots of things to do in any city, just need to choose one, as far as branching out the locations, that sounds cool as well, some in Orange County, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Diego, im down for what ever..

 

Yeah, how about cruising together to Las Vegas this Summer to go autocrossing, gambling, drinking, etc.

 

im up for it as soon as i get the car running.
