So true... Concord Mitsubishi was overall great. We pressed them for exactly what we wanted, and pretty much got it. If you know what you want and how much you want to spend, you can get it at Concord.

looking to purchase a 06' MR. I went to San mateo Mitsubishi dealship because the salesman called me couples of time to ask me to stop by. and he said he could get me one with invoice price. When I got there, he did not keep his word and asked for MSRP. is it posssible to get a MR at Inoice or 37000 OTD in bay area?

Got my MR for a little over 37 OTD at Concord, but that was after over 2 hrs of going back and fourth with negotiating. Plan on spending lots of time at the dealership and get your "WTF, no way" face ready when they try to rip you off.

I've only had experiences with the Hayward dealer. If you must buy from them, only deal with Wes the internet sales mgr, he's sorta ok. The other sales mgr (don't know his name) is a jackass. When I had my car there for service, the jackass actually asked me "What kinda car is that?" My car is completely stock, and I dunno why he didn't know what an Evo looked like.

As for the service dept, avoid them. They lied to me, blamed others for their own mistakes, and tried to make me pay to repair a problem that was caused by their negligent service techs.

Email them: www.concordmitsubishi.com and they'll give you an "internet price" and you can negotiate from there. We got emails back from Chad, but we ended up buying from Phil. Good Luck

Has anyone ever delt with El Cerito dealer? This guy named Danial called me couple of times to go take a look. I might go there next week if people don't have any bad experience with them.

San Rafael is the best, the main sales guy (Eric) is also a part owner of the dealership. When the guy selling you the car also owns the dealership, he does things to win your repeat business, not to get the biggest commission. He gave me a fair price on my trade (21K on an 03) and I was happy to pay MSRP for my MR.

Anyone deal with Serramonte Misubishi or is there any more experience with Hayward Mistu? My friend bought his evo 9 there and seems happy (granted, he sucks and his parents bought it for him).

Serramonte or Hayward?

side note: I finally sold the skyline engine today so now I have enough for a downpayment... I was excited so i went to check out this evo this lot was selling and my dad wanted to go and see so he went... While we were looking he somehow decided that he did'nt want me to buy a used evo, so he asked me how much i would have to pay monthly for a used one, so I told him around 300ish... and he said next week, we'll go buy a brand new one and he'll make up the rest of the payments that i'm short for a brand new one... i just pay like the 300 or whatever!!! I was like "WHAT?!?!?" I thought it was crazy because my parents have never helped me out with money for cars before. But hey! I'm not gonna complain... So where should I go for the best price on an Evo 9?
