Moving to Hawaii. Car shipping question

I might be moving to hawaii (kaimuki) and was wondering if anyone has shipped there car. What is a good reliable company for shipping my car and tool box? Do they offer shipping warranty? any advice like should I load my car up with a bunch of stuff like clothes? How much should I pay? will my car be safe? Also, how safe is my car out there? I was born there, and I go there alot to visit family, but I never really had my car there. Thanks

i thought they only shipped overseas. Anyway, i found a couple of companies shipping over seas for about 900. I just want to know if its safe. I am still trying to find some prices for my clothes, tv, and toolbox. Also, I have so much family in waipahu and makakilo area. Theyre scattered everywhere.

I just moved to the big island and had my Land Cruiser shipped over here with Matson (leaving Evo at home). It cost $900 and took about a month to get here, but it showed up without any damage. They will not allow you to put anything in the vehicle, it has to be empty, clean, and have a 1/4 tank of gas. I ended up shipping my stuff over seperately, which was more expensive but I could not find a place that would allow possessions in the vehicle. Matson insures each vehicle for $5k, after that you have to go through a 3rd party or your own insurance. If you call Matson they can recommend insurance providers to you.
