woke up this morning... ready for another day... pop open www.socalevo.net like every morning... only to wake up to a message on the screen that said:

"BI0S OWNZ U SUX BOX - OVERKILL WAS HERE "


freakin sucks cause i had a bunch of PM's to read too... =(

Chances are they weren't targeting SolCalEvo specifically. They probably were scanning and found a vulnerability on the server its hosted on and thats that.

It's not a matter of being bored, they do it to show "|-| 0 \/\/ 1337" they are and to stick it the owner a bit. There are websites dedicated to these yahoos so they can post their hacks and have contests to see who does the most damage.

Well there is no denying a couple of the guys on there OC crew are a bit arrogant with their invite only meets and all, perhaps someone just took it too far? Messed up regardless but Im sure it can be online in no time.
