We're meeting at the village around 11:00AM in the public parking in the middle of the village. We're meeting at the 18-247 intersection in Lucerne Valley around 10:00AM to drive up there. Well, the guys that are driving up that side anyway. Then we can eat lunch at that Italian place over on Pine knot (I think) street in the village. Then we'll go from there!

Wrong day for me. I go to Big Bear all the time. My son is Derek who owns Bear Valley Bikes. Unfortuntately, that Sunday we will be in Fontana racing bicycles. I could have caravaned up with Robi, he lives near me.

Just heard from a source in Big Bear and they said the roads are in really good shape! Hope some of you guys can make it!

Actually there is a blocked portion of road due to a gasoline spill. It is in the road between Boulder Bay and the dam and will be closed for some time.

 

^^ya man +1...and the roads are iced out on the back way as well..i was just up there snowboardin..

 

Yea the dam has been closed for like 2 weeks now.
