It is 0930am and I am about to leave Tucson to go to Firebird raceway(Phoenix).

If you see me at the track please introduce yourself, I want to met you guys/girls.
A few other people from Tucson are coming also. My car is Silver with real plates that says Evo 8 MR.

I was there, I arrived at 1230. I got to see Abner(slowcar) and Ray there as well and Dre(Topnotchevo) and his wife, also I saw the guys from Mynes performance and Reid and 12monkeys and also Karma. Basicly we had a full house there.

I ran a few 12.2 a few 12.3 and one 12.4. I increased my trap to 112.52 and some other two 112mphs. My worst trap was a 109.97.

My car had severed traction issues, this new clutch hurt me more than help me. All my runs were 1.8 except one.

winds were in the 30-35 mph , very very windy through out almost all day, you can never run fast with 30-35mph side winds..

What did topnotch break? Was it the transfer case???

 

i believe he snapped an axle.....

 

was this event a waste of time & Money or what? track was down 6 times in 5 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i assure everyone that NOPI will not return here again. 2 years in a row they get rained out & once again the track people @ Firebird run things backwards. even if i had the clutch in i wouldn't have wasted $65 to run. all the chicks there were either FAT or either had a FLAT A$$ which is typical of AZ, nowhere near MIAMI quality. i didn't get to meet Carlos but i think i was near him last night when he was in his car at the staging lanes. also most of the pros cancelled at the last minute so it was a real disappointment


Once again my theory is proven, if it's not country music golf or lifted trucks, there is no import scene in AZ. no wonder it's difficult to represent the AZ crowd...

I arived there at around 1230pm. It was windy as hell until sunset. The track was down several times, One time I had to wait about 5 hours because they had some accidents and also the tree light failed when I was about to run. My car was on the drag lane for about one and a half hours.

Anyway, I had a lot of fun. I was with Dre(Topnotchevo) and I seen his 20sec run when he broke his TC.

Yup worse event ever. I wouldnt say all the chicks were bad I saw a little eye candy...

 

Antonio, did you race at all?, did you see me racing?, I think Dre's wife(Topnotchevo) won second place category for the chicks. There were not many chicks competing, I knew 3 other chicks competing(one couldn't compite for mechanical issues on her blue WRX).

Hey Dre, any updates?I did not go there on Sunday, it was raining and hailing here in Tucson..

I seen a lot of people from Sierra Vista that always show up to SIR and I had a few friends from Tucson compiting and actually won third place
