Veracom Mitsubishi... 1 week to decide.

Ok, I'm supposidly picking up my Evo 9 RS from Veracom Mitsubishi next saturday (8/8/06). I've been trying to search around NorCalEvo.net and have'nt found any real answer other than "Go to San Rafael Mitsubishi." So has anyone with experiences at Veracom have anything bad to say or have anything that bothered them or have to rant about? I'd really like to hear everything I'm going to get myself into. One of the salesmen there, George was cool when i first went there and met them all. But today he called me and told me if i dont pick up my evo within this month, that the price we negotiated before hand might not last till next week. To me, that's just some pushy bull****. He called me back a little while after that and told me that I should write them a check, but they wont cash it in and give it to them today or tomorrow to lock in the price. Does it make sense to anyone? I'm worried about the Mitsu dealerships in Nor Cal, seeing as how Hayward closed down, etc. I noticed that Veracom downsized as well. At first they had a pretty big lot, and now it's ford. Anyways. Give me some input.. I did a serch and did'nt really come up with what I was looking for. Just rant away.

Like everyone says go to San Rafael Mitsubishi. At San Rafael Mits you don't have to deal with pushy salesman and they treat all there customers with respect. Plus there is no mark up what so ever on any of the Evo's. Also the real cool thing is that San Rafael Mits has their own Tuninig shop with a 4wheel DynaPack Dyno system right next door to the dealeship so if you decide to mod ur evo its right there. From first hand experience I would strongly recommend you take a trip to San Rafael Mits before deciding what to do. From start to finish they are all great people there. If you do go to San Rafael Mits you should talk with Snorre, he's a great guy, an ex rally driver and he'll answer all your questions up front and not give you the run around. All I know about Veracom is that the Norcal evo guys do not like them very much due to them cancelling a meet at the last min and the techs dont know very much but thats what I've heard from people on the norcal boards.

ah I see. U guys think they can match or beat my prices? I've gotten fairly close to South Coast Mitsu's prices at Veracom (1200 below invoice) and it took me about 5 days to negotiate that price, after talking to the owners, finane managers, and all these other managers. lol. I dont want to have to go down to San Rafael and then find out that I can't even get the right price. But for service, can't I go to San Rafael for service even though I bought the car at Veracom?
