Hey all, I will be down in the la area in a few weeks. might have a few hours to spare and wondering if anyone in the costa mesa area is an avid golfer?

want to play torrey, but a little out of my price range this time, so looking for recommendations on a good local course to play. spending around $50-70 w/o a cart and preferrably a mid-challenging course that you can walk.

any ideas?

I like Shorecliff and Mile Square are a good challenge for the price. Oak Creek and Talega are very nice but kinda pricey.

 

I will be around the laverne area on friday, and was suggested to go play mountain meadows. have seen mixed reviews on the course... nice?
