Hey guys, I was wondering how strict Nevada/Las Vegas is on emissions and cars? I can't stand cali anymore with all these laws against tint, lowering, shiny metal pieces under hood, exhaust, etc etc etc etc etc etc Im seriously thinking about moving up to vegas. I've heard from other people that vegas doesnt really care about emissions, plus things are cheaper over there, ie: property. Plus, a lot of wide open roads and such, plus casinos and such. Anyway, any of you vegas guys have problems with the Nevadan cops? If so, how does it compare with the police state of cali? Thanks



I heard that Colorado is getting rid of their emissions laws in 2007.....but its colorado. No offense to you guys living there. Its um....too far

 

You can get away with a lot more here in vegas than in Cali for sure. The cops don't really mess with us as long as you don't drive or act like an idiot. As far as emmissions, all they do is plug into your obd plug. If your car isn't throwing cels, you'll pass. No tail pipe sniffer or inspection of your car.

yea... the popo's don't really bother anyone unless you're being an idiot on the road... you can do whatever you want to your car and they'll just pass you by... just make sure there isn't any smoke coming out of your tailpipe... that's about it for emissions crap and what evolsk8r said...
