Capitol Mitsubishi Sucks, Don't Buy From Them!!

This happened a few weeks ago, anywayz here is the story. My friend was on the waiting list for the EVO, they gave him a call we went there to check out the car last Sat. It was cool at 1st. The sales people greeted us outside as we were walking in. One of the sales took care of us. As usual he started talking about stuff we already knew about car and how the great the car was, then he started to get a bit pushy and started to ask us what color we wanted and if we were ready to sit down and talk about buying it but we didn't EVEN test drive the car yet?? So we asked him if we could test drive it. The sales dude told US to ask the MANAGER OURSELVERS?? We were like what?? Arn't you suppose ask for us, we are the customers right?? So the manager came out and said "NO, we don't offer test drives for the EVO" So we said, how can we buy a car without test driving it?? We were getting pretty irritated. Then another dude came out, he was the GM, he started talking to me and i said to him "Don't talk to me" then all of a sudden he got really pissed off and asked us to leave. Then he said to us "have you ever bought an EVO before?? You just have to sit down with us talk about the payment, you pay the money, we give you the keys and you drive the car away" Then the other sales people surrounded us one of them said "you know he is the GM, if he asked you leave then leave" " if you don't leave we are going to call the cops. As we were leaving some other salesman outside was even cursing at us. I said you know what customer service is? they said "we don't we nee customer service, we don't need you to buy from us go somewhere else" We were furious, i have never been treated like this before in my life, these people are racist, arrogant and don't know what da hell they are doing. We filed a complaint to Mitsubishi of America but they totally ignored us.

CAPITOL MITSUBISHI TOTALLY SUCKS!! THEY JUST HIRE A BUNCH OF MONKEYS AND THINK THEY CAN SELL CARS WITH THAT COCKY ATTITUDE. THEY THINK THEY ARE SELLING FERRARIS OR SOMETHING

I'm not shocked at all. Typical Bay Area Auto dealership attitude. If ya gotta ask the price, you can't afford it, anyway. Elitist, to say the least, discriminatory if anything.

it seems like they dont wanna sell that car hahaha...but anywayz i think most dealers would not let u test drive the evo but they shouldnt of gave u guys an attitude...who the *** they think thye are...

Is he still looking for a Evo?

My Evo will be for sale soon, unfortunately.....

It's Rally Red w/ NO sunroof and has an Extended warranty 7year/100k mi. (almost $2k !)

I'll be selling it for $35,900.

I'm in the SF bay area.

unfortunately i've seen an evo that was sold by them. i spotted it near my workplace and all i could do was shake my head. at the time the mark up on it was something like 40-45k.

don't worry about it too much...just keep telling all of your friends what a bad place that is and to never go there. i hope they lose lots of customers and get a terrible reputation.

I picked up the EVO flyer there and they were ***'s about that they were like can we get your name and # and i told them no all i want is the add they told me they could only give it out to pepole that reserv the evo. i was like that is bull **** and left they followed me back to my friends car still asking for my name and # they even bloked us in with a car from the service area saying it would only be a minut then they would move it my friend told them to move it now or he would hit it (he drives a 83 mustang) so they moved and we left with them walking behind the car still trying to get us to buy somthing. If you are willing to drive call roesville mitsu they have like 4 EVO 's on the lot right now there sales pepole are pushy but not *******s I do not think you can test drive though

The shame of it is - they're service department is really good and conscienious. The sales department is terrible to work with. ..... but if you go in with your checkbook out, a pre-approved car loan from a good bank, and a hard price in your mind you can get out of there as well as anywhere. Oh, and don't expect any Mitsubishi dealer to be enthusiastic about test drives - every kid on the block wants to go test drive one to red line and that is a problem. You can expect you need to agree on price and convince them you're a serious buyer, then do the test drive.

call mitsubishi north america customer service as soon as you can. file an official complaint with them. this really does work. i had a problem with my wife's ****ty mercury and we called ford and got an extended warranty for free. i understand that a lot of people want to test drive the car for no reason but just to drive an evo but that sucks. when i bought my viii i had to get approved first before i drove it. i love evo's but they act like it is god's gift to cars. i just bought my wife a new accord (traded in the ****ty mercury) and we test drove 4 models before we chose the accord. go to a different dealer buy it and drive straight over there and stick it up their ***.

dude, my dad had the EXACT same conversation with these people about a month ago. He practically danced all over their desk and got italian on their *** because he couldn't test drive the X. They really don't know how to sell a car...
